in internet I found that Mr. Moore from Texas is looking for the family von Podewitz.
In my family Charlotte Henriette von Podewitz was married to my grand-grand-grandfather Ferdinand Rudolph Lezius. His profession was "Geheimer Justizrat, Direktor des Herzoglichen Kreisgerichtes in Zerbst". I don't know any dates of birth, death etc. My grand-grandfather, their son, was Heinrich Lezius, born in 1835. He lived in Breslau (today "Wroclaw"/Poland) and had a company in Tarnovathka/Gouv. Loublin. He was married to Mathilde Lezius, born 1840, birth name Petzold, and their daughter was my grandmother Helene Lezius, birth name Treibel. I don't know, whether all this is of interest for you. I am born in 1939. If you have questions, please contact me. I tried to mail to the indicated adress Man..., but failed.
