Can someone please help me to understand what these films are about. Evidently these are the only films available through LDS for Altentreptow.
Military Records - those eligible for military service for Sankt George Pommern Ger; then part of treptow (Kr. Demmin) includes male births.
Naturalization & Citizenship (Bürgerbuch 1770-1855)
What information I have is not much. My 2nd great-grandparents Karl Friedrich Joachim KUHLOW/KULOW & Caroline Ernestine Elizabeth GANSCHOW married 1864 in Klatzow. They came to America about 1882. Caroline father Gabriel GANSCHOW (zu St. George) written beside his name in the Klatzow Church book. So I'm going to guess that Gabriel was maybe from Altentreptow. Karl may have been born about 1830-1840. Gabriel may have been born about 1800-1810.
Has anyone looked at these films to be able to tell me if it would be possible to find a record of my KUHLOW or GANSCHOW in either of these films?
I would appreciate any ideas on my search. Thanks. ...Gerry in Missouri
