I found out where my Allers is from: Bramel, east of Bremerhaven.
Thanks to everybody for your help. I found him in local church
records in Baltimore. Now I want know about Bramel and this area.

Also found another family name: Stoener or Stenner from Badbergen.

Hi Tom,
     I hope you are near an LDS center because they have the church records
from 1725 on for Bramel. There is also a family lineage book from Bramel,
but the LDS doesn't loan out books. Maybe you could find the book
elsewhere. I'm glad you found the birthplace of your Claus Allers. That is
a big step, to say the least. And the LDS also have lots of records for
Badbergen!

Hi Tom,

     Go to the LDS website: www.familysearch.org Click on Search for
Ancestors, next click on Family History Library Catalog (on the blue bar far
right), click on Place, put in Bramel and you'll see what they have. Do
that also for Badbergen. Do you live in Salt Lake? The book is called
  Die Einwohner von Bramel : 1698-1900
