Dear friends of genealogy,
You are using the pages of the AKVZ, a group whose task it is to digitize the old census records of the duchies Schleswig, Holstein and Lauenburg, the principality L�beck, the grandduchy Mecklenburg-Schwerin and thus to enable all interested parties around the world to search for individuals in a database.
That is causing costs for material and fees which the AKVZ is no longer able to pay on ist own.
Therefore we have had to decide to ask for a low user fee for the search in the AKVZ database.
We do hope for financial donations and through that for a lasting improvement of our financial situation. We shall be working towards allowing free access again in future.
We have set progressive rates from the 1st of January 2008 for our user fees as follows:
Usergroup A, free access
Members of the AKVZ association
Members of the AKVZ sponsoring circle
Usergroup B, 3.00 Euro fees per month
Contributors of AKVZ
Usergroup C, 5.00 Euro fees per month
All users that are not elegible for group A or B
You may pay cash, through valid German postal stamps, via PayPal or on one of our bank accounts.
Access will be given after payment has been effected.
