They also had Ahrens on the list. But only thing in direct lines I have so far found in that spelling. I also have Ehlers, Behrens, Schmidt, Miller, Schultze, Schulz Luhmann,Lyss'mann, Meyer.

I have been looking for the Schroeders, Dedeke's in Hanover. These belong
to the paternal side of mom's family.
Now , I see you have a Schmidt...I know that this is a very common name in
Germany but, here goes......her maternal side was Bernhardt Schmidt b. abt
1810 and m. to a Maria Spellmeyer/Spellmeier b. abt 1822 and both from
Hanover. Maria is listed as Osnabrueck, Germany ...Is this also in
Hanover.

in Nottorf / Lunsen, Morsum / Lunsen and Embserthuenen, Oyten / Achim. I
