I am looking for some assistance in finding information on Metje Heepke Ahlers, born 22 Mar 1842 in Oldenburg. (I have no place name.) She would have immigrated before 1866 when she married Friedrich Essmann in Ogle, Illinois. As Friedrich was born in Grüppenbühren, it may be that she also was born there.
If someone could look this up for me, I would be grateful and of course provide any information on her life and children here in the US.
