I'm looking for ideas on finding parents of Heinrich Friedrich Christian Ackmann. He was born January 20, 1846 somewhere in Hannover. He immigrated in 1861, he would have been about 15.
He married Carolina Louise Wilhelmina Beerberg in Hanover Twp, Cook County, Illinois, USA on September 23, 1868. She was the daughter of Wilhelm Beerberg and Amalia Meyer, from Segelhorst. She immigrated in 1867, she is found in castlegarden. She was one of 3 surviving daughters & sons in-law. Looking for third daughter, m. Louis Hake. Second daughter was Caroline Beerberg Harmening of Palatine, Illinois, USA.
