Ich will wieder einmal versuchen, etwas Licht auf meine Ahnen zu scheinen. Meine Ur-Ur-Grossmutter (Charlotte HARTMANN) aus Vellinghausen (Dinker, bei Hamm) hatte drei uneheliche Kinder. Bei zweien ist der Vater angegeben als Ackerknecht Friedrich KORTE aus Schmehausen. Bei dem dritten Kind (meinem Urgrossvater) ist der Name des Vaters nicht angegeben, aber der Geburtsort und Ort der Taufe (Uentrop) stimmen mit dem jeweiligen Wohnort des Friedrich KORTE ueberein. Ich nehme deshalb an, dass er ebenfalls der Vater ist.
Hat jemand einen Ackerknecht Friedrich KORTE in seiner Liste?
Bei der LDS gibt es eine ganze Menge von Friedrich KORTE, aber ohne Geburts- und Todesdatum ist es schwer herauszufinden, ob einer davon mein Vorfahr war.

I want to try and shed some light on one of my ancestors. My g-g-grandmother Charlotte HARTMANN from Vellinghausen (part of Dinker, near Hamm) had three illegitimate children. The father is named for two of them as farm labourer Friedrich KORTE from Schmehausen. No name of father is mentioned for the third child (my g-grandfather), but his place of birth and place of baptism coincide with the location of Friedrich KORTE at the time. I presume, therefore, that he was also the father of the third child.
Does anybody have a farm labourer Friedrich KORTE in their list?
At the IGI there are a lot of people with that name, but without knowing either his date of birth or death it is difficult to know whether my ancestor is among them.
