Hello. My name is Juan Keil and I live in Mendoza, Argentina. My great-grandfather, Carl Ernst Kei, was born in Wittenberg (Prussia at that time) in 1829 and he came to Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1855 in order to work at the Evangelist Congregation as a musician. My grandfather, Friedrich Ernst Ludwig Keil, was born in Buenos Aires in 1859. When my great-grandfather died at 1871, my great-grandmother, Ernestine Moebius, returned to Wittenberg with her children and lived there from 1872 to about 1879, and then they came back to Buenos Aires. I have photographs of my grandfather taken at Wittenberg during those years. I´d thank very much if someone has more information about my grandfather living at Wittenberg since 1872 to 1879 and also about the Keil familiy from Wittenberg related to mine. Thank in advance.
