I have a copy of a military service record from 1877.
The script and the terminology have changed.
I believe it is a "loosungs Schein", a discharge paper, which
released my great-grandfather from military service due to a
"great scar on the foot".
He was given an "Ersatz Kommission"
Is someone familiar with this?
