1819 Census LDS film #'s

Larry,

I realize that a search of the catalog can be done, but it does not help any
with which film has Stavenhagen I, II, and III. It simply states that RA
Stavenhagen is locaged on both 68902 & 68903. This is why I turned to the
list for help, hoping that someone has viewed these two films and can tell me
which of these has Stavenhagen III on it.

Julie

Hi Julie
I can be of limited help, as I have been looking at 68902 until last week,
but it was sent back on Tuesday.
It has all of DA Stavenhagen, but only about a half dozen towns from RA
Stavenhagen.
The rest will be on 68903.
I was looking at Sulten (DA) and was hoping that Basedow (RA) might be
there as well, but it wasn't.
But here is a list I have just found for what is on 68903.-from Carol
Gooseman's site

Stavenhagen 1: Amt. Amtsbrineri und Armenhaus zu Stavenhagen, Altbauhoff,
Neubauhoff, Gielow, Gülzen, Kölpin, Kleeth, Lehster- Gut, Lehster - Dorf,
Marekow, Pribnerow, Ritzerow, Rosenow, Joharpzow Gut, Joharpzow Forsthaus,
Lullen Gut, Lullen Dorf, Fulzen.
Adamsdorf, Bäbelin, Basedow, Basedow-Theerofen, B-Schäfere B-Neu, Bressen,
Carlstein-Meierei, Demzin, Devin, Faulenrost, Gessin, Helle.Gr.,
Hungerstorf, Jürgenstorf, Kalübbe, Kastorf, Kittendorf, Kraase (Gr. & Kl.),
Krieson, Krebesel, Lansen, Lapitz, Liepen, Liepen zu Adamsdorf, Luckow,
Kl., Lüdershof, Mittelhof,
Neuhäuser, Neuhof, Oevelgünde, Pampow, Alt Paustorf, Neu Paustorf,
Passentin, Rittermannshagen, Seedorf, Schwarzenhof, Voshagen, Wenschenhäger
Damm, Zwiedorf

Cheers
Leonie

Leonie, please tell us the URL for Carol Gooseman's site that seems to reveal the
contents of LDS FHL films. Larry

Leonie,

What names were you looking for in Sulten? My g-grandparents were married
there and lots of the family records are there--NETZBAND-FINCK. I've looked
through this roll a lot.

Just to clear up some confusion, it is not Carol GOOSEMAN, but CAROL BOWEN
who is the moderator of the Mecklenburg Vorpommern WorldGenWeb site. One of
her ancestral line was that of Goosman/Goman from Mecklenburg.

Hi Cheryl
I was looking for the rest of the family of Catherina Maria Dorothea JORNS
(also JORENS, JOEREND etc), born at Sulten, who married Reinhold JASPER in
1792 in Basse. I had looked at the 1819 census for Luhburg, Basse and
found that her birthplace was Sulten, Kittendorf parish, so I had to look
at the parish records there as well. I found that the Sulten and Kittendorf
were all there until about 1786 (I think), then only the Kittendorf ones
for after that.
So I couldn't find what happened to the rest of the family in Sulten. Pity.

Leonie

Oh cool! The Joerends went to the Ritzerow records. Did you check there?
My g-g-grandmother, Dorothea Finck, had a child by a Joerend and the records
are there. Those churches were all mixed together--Sulten, Kettendorf,
Ritzerow, Neubauhoff, and others.

Have you seen the picture of the manor house of Kittendorf, now a hotel?

Hi Cheryl
I didn't realise the church records were all mixed up. Are you saying that
the Sulten records are with the Ritzerow ones for after 1786? If so, I will
have to check these out as well. It was so disappointing to find the Sulten
ones ended then.
And no, I haven't seen the manor house at Kittendorf. Last year in
September I went to the part of Germany that my family were from-the
Sanitz, Sulze, Marlow areas. I hadn't made the connection at that time to
Sulten, so I missed that part!
Maybe one day I'll get the chance to go back, but it's a long long way from
Australia.
Thanks for your help.
Regards
Leonie Oliver (nee Jasper)
